Of course this was a superb pantomime, best remembered for the night when Robin Hood (no names mentioned) took three attempts to fire the arrow off stage. At the third attempt a stage hand reached out to pluck the arrow from the bow!! Needless to say, the audience fell about. Probably the highlight of each performance.
