The Garden District

The Garden District was comprised of two plays by Tennessee Williams, firstly Something Unspoken and secondly Suddenly Last Summer.

Both plays are set in the Deep South of America in the Garden District of New Orleans in the late 1930s. The plays consider the various kinds of relationships that exist between families and friends in very different and thought provoking ways. The shocking culmination of the plays create debate and questioning due to the many different interpretations that can be derived from it.
