The Magic Fruit was a pantomime written by two members of the Rotherfield Players, namely Sue Williams and James Gallifant.
The storyline centred around a young princess who could not laugh or smile. It became known that the Magic Fruit could cure this affliction and the Prince set off in search of this elusive item. Naturally, there was the usual Dame character, two chinese waiters and a really nasty baddy.
